Uniplate Anchor – UNI-01

The uniplate anchor has been designed to fit most metal roof profiles. The uniplate can be fitted with either a fixed eyelet or an energy absorbing swivel eyelet. The swivel eyelet allows the attachment rope to follow you, allowing complete directional force. The eyelet is secured using a separate locking (Nylok) nut.

Mini Surface Mount – Corrugated – MSM-01

The low profile surface mounted roof anchor MSM-01 is designed to suit corrugated roof sheeting and can be fitted with either a fixed or swivel eyelet with the swivel eyelet allowing the attachment rope to follow you allowing for complete directional force. This separation of the fixing mechanism prevents metal fatigue when over tightened or twisted under load and allows the eyelet to rotate under pressure.

 

Overview

Specially designed for situations where you can’t access the inside of the roof, this unit is secure because it dissipates the force of a fall over a wide region and still meets the Australian Standards.

Rafter and Truss Anchor TEE-01

This product uses a specially engineered mounting unit that’s designed to bend and reduce the impact on the timber frame. This allows for higher limited free fall force than the roof would otherwise be able to handle.

For use on timber frame roofs, this anchor is specially designed to protect the user without compromising the roof strength.

Temporary Wire – TWA-01 – Limited free fall – 12-kn

This unit is a temporary attachment anchor for one person made of stainless steel wire, fittings, and a karabiner. The anchor is easily carried and simply wraps away for storage.
Note: If in doubt as to the capabilities of the anchorage structure prior to fitting, a Structural Engineer should be consulted.

 

Application

This anchor is suitable for metal roofing and also can be used by screwing directly to trusses and rafters.
The use of multiple anchors allows an operator to traverse larger areas and connect directly to each of the corresponding anchor’s own karabiner, allowing for maintenance and inspections.

Specifications

  • The anchor consists of two cables with swaged fittings at all ends and wires which run through a screw gate karabiner; the stainless steel roof securing plates are used to screw through onto the roof sheets with the cables being offset to match the roof screw pattern
  • Plates are designed to bend in the case of a fall to relieve stress on the anchor, fixings, and structure
  • Designed to meet the needs of operators at risk and Australian Standard 1891.4 2009 and Workcover’s Code of Practice for Safe Working at Heights
  • Anchor testing and certification was conducted by TestSafe (WorkCover) to Australian and New Zealand Standard 1891.4 2000 and current to the 2009 upgrade, Test Report no 32696
  • This anchor is for the use as a Limited Free Fall Anchor point and rated at 12kN
  • The Anchor TWA-01 is for the use a single person at a time

Mini Surface Mount – Universal Eyelet – MSM-04

Single piece stainless steel unit that is secured to the roof using 7 x 8mm trifold rivets.
